What a busy month we have ahead! St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Daylight Savings, March Break! Things are picking up around Orillia in terms of events as well so be sure to check out the following venues for more activities...

On Thursday March 10 come out + make a textured wall hanging. These are so fun to make + we have a TON of different colours + textures of yarn for you to choose from. You get to take home 2 handmade hangings, either 1 large ring and 1 small ring or 1 dowel and 1 small ring. This is a great workshop to join with a friend or two or come alone + meet some new people! There are 8 spots available + you can count on tasty treats to tide you over while you craft. Workshop runs from 6:30 - 7:30 and costs $30.00 (all materials + supplies provided).
On Tuesday March 15 get a bit fancier and learn to make your own small weaving! Learn how to prepare your lap loom and 4 different techniques. Take your new tools home to continue practicing + making! Another great opportunity to sign up with a friend or make friends when you get here, 6 spots available! We'll have tasty green treats to get you excited for St. Patrick's Day. Workshop runs from 6:30 - 8:30 and costs $40.00 (all materials + supplies provided).
Why let the kids have all of the fun? Sign up for Easter Egg Decorating on Tuesday March 22 + we'll try some watercolouring, decoupage as well as good ol' dying. Please sign up by Monday March 21, just 6 spots available. Easter treats will help get the creative juices flowing, workshop runs 6:30 - 8:00 and costs $25.00 (all materials + supplies provided).
I think we can start dreaming of warmer weather by the end of March so come out + learn to make your own tshirt and get your spring wardrobe started! Only 4 spots available!! The workshop runs from 6:30 - 8:30 and costs $45.00. Fabric + materials will be provided but please bring your absolute favourite shirt for sizing (don't worry we won't be cutting them!!!).
**Speaking of spring wardrobes stay tuned for April's schedule for our first Clothing Swap! It's going to be a goodie so if you're starting to get the spring cleaning itch keep those old clothes off to the side + bring them to swap!! And don't worry, any unclaimed items will be donated :)
