I'm writing this on a beautiful spring-like day + it's so refreshing to get a thaw + see some sunshine! Seeing the weather + seasons change always gives me a boost of creative inspiration. Floral Watercolour Workshop w/ Steph Whalen
Join local artist Steph Whalen for a fun evening learning watercolour basics! You will create an 8x10 watercolour painting of whimsical poppies. Together, we will draw the poppy scene + use blending + layering techniques to fill in your drawing with that beautiful poppy red. A delightful, multi-talented, self-taught artist, Steph will guide you confidently through this workshop even if you have zero experience with a paint brush!

Printmaking Workshop w/ Samantha Dewaele
Join Samantha Dewaele of The Paper Forest for our first Printmaking Workshop! Samantha will guide you through the process of creating your very own stamp, from design to carving to inking + stamping. You will leave the workshop with your handcarved stamp + three 4"x4" prints on quality paper. All supplies + materials will be provided. Before the workshop, scope out some design inspiration. Each participant with receive a 3" square to carve, so keep this size in mind when planning your design. Would you like to create a small scene? One large object? Dreamcatcher Workshop w/ Samantha McIsaac + Devon Dwinnell
Join Samantha McIsaac + Devon Dwinnell as they show us the ropes in our very popular Dreamcatcher Workshop! Learn the basics of this traditional craft with a variety of colours + accessories at your fingertips. Samantha + Devon will also introduce us to the story of the dreamcatcher while creating a sacred space in which to make. You will take home a small finished dreamcatcher to hang in your home or gift to a loved one. And you will leave with the knowledge + skills to continue your creative journey into this beautiful artform.

Wire Weaving Workshop w/ Olivia Neal
Join Olivia in experimenting with unexpected materials in weaving. Using copper or silver wire + various yarns we will create a sculptural wall hanging. Some experience in basic stitches is required (if you have attended the weaving workshop at Harold + Ferne you will have all of the skills necessary to participate).
