Mala Making Workshop 7:00 - 9:00
Join the lovely ladies from Purple Lotus here in the shop for a beginner mala making workshop. We hosted a private mala making party in May + it was such a success that we've asked them to come back once again. What is a mala? A mala is a string of beads used to count mantras (Sanskrit prayers) in sets of 108 repetitions. If you are seasoned in meditation or a beginner or would just like to make your own beautiful mala necklace, everyone will feel welcome in this guided course. Choose from different styles + a wide variety of stones, beads + charms to make a mala that suits you perfectly. If you already have a mala, you can make another as each mala is infused with a different intention. So join us for this wonderful experience, you'll learn a lot + have a wonderful time - we promise!

Make Your Own Wish Tree 6:30 - 8:00
Join Ninette Gyrody to create your own wish tree! Inspired by the customs of Tanabata, a Japanese festival celebrated on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, participants will create their own wish trees using branches. Branches can contain handwritten wishes or small decorations. A variety of materials will be provided for inspiration. Please feel free to bring personal items of significance that you wish to add. Let this be a spiritual journey for your wishes to come true. Each participant will take home their own wish tree to hang in their home, office or front porch - wherever it brings you the most inspiration!

Downtown Block Party + Night Market
The second Sidewalk Sale of the summer takes place this weekend in the form of an eventful Downtown Block Party! Come downtown on Friday + Saturday from 9:00 - 5:00 to peruse the main street, we'll have a booth out on the street again + you can meet some of our fantastic artists + artisans!
If you're looking for something to do on Friday night then check out the second Night Market happening in the block in front of the Library + Opera House from 6:00 - 9:00 where you'll find artisans, artists + farmers!
