Call to Bike Loving Ladies!

A very good friend of the shop also has a fun proposal this month! Please get in touch with Miranda if you are interested!

Hello Ladies of Orillia,

I am putting a call out to see if there is any interest in a Bike Maintenance Workshop.

Orillia has some of the best trails, it is a convenient way to get around and I love being out on my bike -- am looking for 5 other like-minded people. Velocity Cycle on Mississauga St. has the room + equipment and have offered to host a workshop at a reasonable price. They suggested that learning how to properly change a tire is a good place to start when getting to know a bike. If interest remains, the bike learning could be continual. The Bike Maintenance Workshop would be scheduled for a Sunday or Monday evening mid-late August, depending on those interested.

Did I mention there would be snacks?

If interested, please email miranda.minassian@gmail.com.

Thursday September 15

Fall Clothing Swap

Last spring we hosted a Summer Clothing Swap + it was so much fun! The items I picked up in the last swap have been staples in my summer wardrobe + that makes me so happy (new clothes on the cheap while being eco-friendly?! #winning) So... In case you are starting to get the urge to clean up/clear out/update your wardrobe for the coming fall season don't get rid of your pile of "donate" clothes just yet. Keep them in a bag or basket off to the side + sign up for our Fall Clothing Swap!! More details to come in the September announcement but think button ups, sweaters, pants, tights, work clothes, scarves/mitts/hats, outerwear etc.

Don't forget to sign up in advance if you want to participate in any of the workshops or information sessions! Sign up can be done by phone (705-327-9220), email (haroldferneshop@gmail.com), DM on social media or by coming into the shop. Can't wait to participate in these amazing evenings with you!!

Enjoy the rest of your summer!
